Senior Legal Counsel – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

About the role

Lenovo is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its Europe and META Region Legal Team, based in Riyadh. Reporting to the EMEA General Counsel, you will act as a generalist lawyer handling a broad spectrum of legal matters linked to Lenovo’s fast‑growing operations in Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts across sales, marketing, advertising and channel partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi competition law, local regulations and Sharia law.
• Provide guidance on ethical conduct, deliver training, and investigate employee conduct when required.
• Advise on employment law matters and support HR on related issues.
• Manage commercial disputes, litigation and coordinate with external counsel.
• Develop and implement legal processes that minimise risk for business units.

Required profile

• 12+ years of legal experience in a law firm or in‑house, covering contract law, competition law, employment law and litigation.
• Law degree from a recognised university.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (native‑level proficiency).
• Proven ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Strong collaborative skills to work with internal counsel, technology, marketing, sales and product teams.
