Senior Legal Manager – International Affairs

About the role

The Senior Legal Manager – International Affairs will lead Cenomi Retail’s cross‑border legal function, providing strategic guidance on commercial contracts, transactions and corporate matters. This senior position reports to the Legal Director and supports business growth while safeguarding the company’s legal interests.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all international legal affairs, ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, franchising agreements and cross‑border transaction documents.
• Provide corporate advisory and risk‑management counsel to senior business leaders.
• Coordinate and oversee external counsel in various countries.
• Conduct legal research and deliver practical, commercially‑focused recommendations.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer in England & Wales or a comparable common‑law jurisdiction.
• 10+ years post‑qualification experience, preferably with a leading international law firm or multinational corporation.
• Proven track record handling multi‑jurisdictional legal matters and complex commercial transactions.
• Strong analytical, judgment and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
