Senior Manager, Global Service (Data Center Operations)

About the role

Supermicro is looking for a senior manager to lead its Global Service function for data‑center field operations and logistics across Saudi Arabia, the Gulf region and future expansion into EMEA. The role combines deep technical expertise with operational leadership to ensure high‑value server hardware is delivered, supported and compliant with regional trade regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a cross‑functional technical team delivering on‑site, remote and customer‑facing support across the region.
• Act as the technical authority for Supermicro server hardware, especially GPU‑based rack‑scale deployments.
• Drive root‑cause analysis, continuous service improvement and KPI/SLA management.
• Oversee hardware depot logistics, inventory, distribution and special‑handling requirements.
• Handle customs documentation, import/export compliance, permits and licensing for UAE and Saudi regulations.
• Coordinate international shipments with logistics partners to optimise cost, routes and delivery timelines.
• Recruit, train and mentor technical and logistics staff to build a high‑performance team.
• Serve as regional point of contact for logistics, compliance and regulatory bodies, creating contingency plans for shipment delays.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing field engineering and logistics teams in the data‑center sector.
• Strong background in server hardware engineering and system integration.
• Extensive knowledge of import/export regulations and customs procedures in the Gulf region.
• Excellent analytical skills with a track record of improving operational efficiency.
