Senior Medical Representative – Pharmaceutical Sales

About the role

The Senior Medical Representative will join a newly formed, fast‑growing team at AstraZeneca Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for influencing prescribing behaviour of primary‑care healthcare professionals, driving sales of designated products, and contributing to the company’s strategic objectives in the Kingdom.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all required training and product examinations.
• Engage primary‑care healthcare professionals in discussions about approved indications, efficacy and safety to support on‑label prescribing.
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop a local strategy and business plan that meets or exceeds sales and call‑execution targets.
• Drive sales performance, maintain accurate forecasts and ensure budgets are met.
• Maintain in‑depth knowledge of market, demographic and managed‑markets information for the assigned territory.
• Comply with all regulations governing interactions with healthcare professionals and sample distribution.
• Provide clinical and technical information to healthcare professionals in line with AstraZeneca compliance standards.

Required profile

• Saudi national.
• Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical science.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a pharmaceutical company.
• Multinational experience preferred.
• Strong selling skills and impactful presentation abilities.
• Excellent planning and organization capabilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
