About the role

We are seeking a Senior OpenShift & CP4I Operations Engineer to design, deploy, secure and manage Red Hat OpenShift and IBM Cloud Pak for Integration platforms across hybrid cloud environments. The role ensures high availability, automated scaling and continuous delivery of integration services.

Key responsibilities

Plan, architect, install, and configure Red Hat OpenShift clusters across hybrid cloud environments.
Provision and manage IBM Cloud Pak for Integration platform using Operator Lifecycle Manager.
Secure clusters with RBAC, OAuth, Keycloak/IAM, and SSL/TLS configurations.
Design persistent storage using software‑defined storage engines and oversee zero‑downtime upgrades, patching and node updates.
Configure APM dashboards, automate multi‑tenant provisioning via GitOps, and troubleshoot cluster degradation, storage failures and networking issues.

Required profile

Extensive production‑grade experience with Red Hat OpenShift and IBM Cloud Pak for Integration.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related technical discipline.
Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic is a strong advantage.

Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, OKD, Kubernetes, CoreOS.
IBM Cloud Pak for Integration components: IBM MQ, API Connect, App Connect (ACE), Event Streams (Kafka), Aspera.
Operator Lifecycle Manager, Helm charts, Ansible, Terraform, ArgoCD, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Tekton.
Software‑Defined Networking (SDN/OVN), Istio service mesh, network policies.
Storage solutions: Ceph, Portworx, CSI plugins, AWS EBS/EFS.
Monitoring and logging: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenShift Logging, Sysdig.
Scripting: Bash, Python, OpenShift CLI (oc), kubectl.
Project tools: Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft TFS.
