Senior Roads Engineer

About the role

ARX is expanding its presence in the Middle East and seeks a Senior Roads Engineer to join its Riyadh office. You will lead the design and delivery of road and highway projects, ensuring compliance with Saudi standards and integration with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan and supervise road and highway layouts, including geometry, grading, intersections, junctions and pavement structures.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, plans and documentation, and review technical deliverables from designers and BIM/CAD teams.
• Coordinate with project managers, other engineering disciplines and external stakeholders to align road systems with overall project designs.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and ensure designs meet local regulations and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in infrastructure projects with a focus on roads and highways.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Civil 3D.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Vehicle Tracking.
