Senior SAP Business Analyst (Asset Integrity & PM)

About the role

The Senior Business Systems Analyst analyzes, evaluates, enhances and supports business systems and processes that enable asset integrity, maintenance, inspection and operational excellence. The role acts as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, turning business requirements into effective system solutions. The workplace is on site in Dammam.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and recommend system improvements and automation solutions.
• Support, enhance and optimize SAP PM and related asset management systems.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and business reports.
• Coordinate with business users, IT teams and vendors to deliver system enhancements.
• Lead workshops, document requirements and support testing and deployment.
• Ensure data quality, governance and compliance with company standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience; 5 years on Saudi Aramco projects preferred.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Utilities or Industrial sectors.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, solution design, testing and implementation, and in managing system enhancements and troubleshooting.

Required skills

• SAP Plant Maintenance (equipment master, functional locations, maintenance planning, inspection planning, work orders), custom SAP developments and integrations.
• ABAP, OData, CDS views, workflow, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, BADIs and BAPIs.
• SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP BTP and RAP.
• Power BI and advanced SQL.
• PI System (OSIsoft) or similar data historians, and ETL processes.
• AI/ML for predictive maintenance and asset integrity.
