Senior Static Equipment Engineer

About the role

Eram Talent is recruiting a Senior Static Equipment Engineer for a position in Saudi Arabia, working on site in the oil and gas sector. The engineer designs, evaluates and maintains static equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers and storage tanks, leads engineering projects and mentors junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, evaluate and maintain static equipment including pressure vessels, heat exchangers and storage tanks
• Lead engineering projects and guide teams so that work complies with regulatory standards and ensures operational efficiency
• Mentor junior engineers and help build a culture of excellence within the team

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is highly preferred
• At least 15 years of relevant experience in static equipment engineering within the oil and gas industry
• Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic is an advantage
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental standards

Required skills

• Knowledge of engineering codes and standards such as ASME, API and NACE, with practical experience applying them
• Proficiency in design and analysis software including PVElite, CEASER and AutoCAD
• Ability to manage engineering projects and optimise equipment reliability
• Problem-solving, analytical and communication skills, and experience mentoring less experienced engineers
