Senior Structural Engineer – High‑rise Design

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead the design of a landmark high‑rise building in Riyadh. The role involves delivering safe, functional structural solutions while ensuring compliance with international and local codes under WSP’s Project Management Consultancy scope.

Key responsibilities

• Lead structural design activities for high‑rise projects, from concept through detailed design.
• Perform advanced structural analysis and design using ETABS, SAFE, STAAD and related tools.
• Review and validate design deliverables from consultants and contractors.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers and other stakeholders to integrate design solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Prepare and review technical reports, specifications and design documentation.
• Ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 12 years of structural design experience, including at least 5 years on high‑rise projects.
• Strong knowledge of international codes such as ACI, BS and Eurocodes, and familiarity with Saudi regulations.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Experience working on projects under a PMC scope is an advantage.
