Senior WHS Manager – Workplace Health & Safety

About the role

Amazon Thunder is seeking a Senior WHS Manager to lead Workplace Health & Safety initiatives across its GCC sites. The role partners with operations teams to implement WHS policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a safe, healthy environment for associates.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with site operations to execute WHS policies and meet local/regional regulations.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using lean principles and Kaizen to reduce ergonomic and conditional risks.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analyze WHS data to drive safety decisions.
• Train and mentor Operations Leaders and WHS team members on Amazon WHS standards.
• Develop and implement leadership development plans for WHS associates.

Required profile

• 5+ years of progressive responsibility in EHS or WHS within manufacturing, production, or service environments.
• Proven experience applying lean principles and process improvement in operational settings.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Experience managing multiple direct reports.
