About the role
The Service Coordinator ensures smooth after‑sales operations by managing service bookings, workshop capacity, and customer communications. Acting as the operational link between customers, Service Advisors, and the workshop, the role optimises appointment scheduling and enhances the overall service experience.
Key responsibilities
- Handle inbound service booking requests via phone, online platforms, and walk‑ins using the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Plan workshop capacity by aligning technician availability, bay space, job complexity, and service priorities.
- Schedule appointments to maximise utilisation and minimise idle time.
- Coordinate priority bookings for VIP customers, fleet accounts, recall campaigns, and OEM programmes.
- Confirm appointments, send reminders, and conduct pre‑arrival calls to reduce no‑shows.
- Manage outbound campaigns for service reminders, recalls, and OEM engagement.
- Provide clear communication on appointment details, preparation requirements, and expected timelines.
- Arrange customer mobility solutions such as loan vehicles, shuttle services, and waiting areas.
Required profile
- Strong customer‑service orientation with professional communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple booking requests and adjust schedules dynamically.
- Attention to detail and disciplined approach to appointment management.
- Experience in coordinating workshop or service centre operations is preferred.
Required skills
- Dealer Management System (DMS) proficiency.
