Shift Supervisor – Hospitality

About the role

The Shift Supervisor role is an operational position responsible for leading team members during each shift to ensure high standards of people, product, cleanliness, and an exceptional guest experience are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead by example, treating every team member and guest with respect.
• Address shift‑time issues promptly and provide clear, specific direction to staff.
• Foster a fun, motivating work environment while driving team performance toward goals.
• Train, orient, and monitor new hires; report performance to the Store Manager.
• Maintain optimal staffing coverage and step into various positions during busy periods.
• Prioritize guest satisfaction, respond to inquiries and resolve complaints quickly.
• Enforce Tim Hortons operating standards, cash procedures, and store policies.
• Oversee product merchandising, stock levels, and shift documentation.
• Ensure health and safety practices are followed and report any incidents.
