Social Media Manager

About the role

Digital Republic is hiring a Social Media Manager in Riyadh for a permanent, full-time position. The role combines client servicing and account handling with hands-on social media creation, strategy and reporting, and includes leading a team of Social Media Executives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Account Director so that social media work aligns with brand strategy and client goals, and act as the lead voice in client meetings
• Support account growth through proposals, upsells and strategic social recommendations
• Manage Social Media Executives, monitoring workload, output quality and professional development
• Develop and run social media strategies, including content pillars, community management protocols and platform playbooks
• Draft, edit and publish daily posts across platforms, writing bilingual copy in English and Arabic with Gulf cultural nuance
• Create social-first content with mobile editing tools and design apps such as CapCut and Canva, and schedule and tag posts manually
• Proofread all copy, work with design and video teams, and suggest promotions and competitions to grow the community
• Use social listening tools to track trends, set KPIs and report ROI to clients
• Lead or support influencer campaigns, cover events live on Stories and TikTok, and educate clients and colleagues on platform changes

Required profile

• 4 to 5 years of experience in social media management, ideally in a creative or digital agency
• Native-level Arabic with a strong grasp of Gulf dialects and regional culture, plus professional English
• Strong knowledge of the MENA social media landscape and platforms such as Snapchat, X, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube
• Ability to act as a trusted advisor to clients and to manage a small team

Required skills

• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
• Comfortable presenting social strategies and monthly performance reports to senior stakeholders
• Adaptability in a fast-paced, multi-client environment
