Socioeconomic Development Consultant

About the role

Arweqah Alreyadah seeks an experienced Socioeconomic Development Consultant to design and deliver impactful development solutions. You will guide projects from diagnosing needs through data analysis, strategy design, and implementation planning, aiming to foster sustainable economic growth and social impact.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct socioeconomic research, needs assessments, baseline studies, and gap analyses.
• Analyze demographic, employment, income, education, entrepreneurship, and community data to identify challenges and opportunities.
• Develop strategies, policies, programs, and initiatives aligned with development priorities.
• Design targeted interventions for communities, productive families, entrepreneurs, SMEs, NGOs, and vulnerable groups.
• Prepare sector studies, benchmarking analyses, policy papers, and development frameworks.
• Create theories of change, results frameworks, impact pathways, KPIs, and M&E plans.
• Design operating models, implementation roadmaps, and action plans.
• Assess social and economic impact of projects, programs, and investments.
• Engage with government entities, development partners, communities, and other stakeholders.
• Produce high‑quality reports, presentations, and recommendations for clients and decision‑makers.
• Support feasibility studies, strategic planning, and the development of scalable solutions.
• Monitor implementation progress and evaluate outcomes.

Required profile

• Preferably a Master’s degree in Economics, Development Studies, Public Policy, Social Sciences, Business, Urban Planning, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in socioeconomic development, consulting, strategy, public policy, social impact, or development planning.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience conducting socioeconomic assessments and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data.
• Ability to develop strategies, frameworks, operating models, and implementation plans.
• Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation frameworks, including theories of change and impact measurement.
• Excellent report writing, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent in English with proficiency in Arabic.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment.
