Spectator Services Venue Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Spectator Services Venue Manager to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of world‑class fan services for a major international football event in Riyadh. The role ensures a seamless, safe and enjoyable journey for every spectator from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all spectator services operations throughout the event life‑cycle, from planning and readiness to post‑event activities.
• Develop and implement operational plans that meet venue objectives and international standards.
• Oversee information points, customer service desks, way‑finding, accessibility services, lost‑and‑found, family reunification and queue management.
• Coordinate closely with Venue Operations, Security, Safety, Medical, Transport, Volunteers, Hospitality, Ticketing, Broadcasting and Cleaning teams.
• Supervise, train and motivate a large workforce of supervisors, coordinators, volunteers and temporary staff.
• Monitor crowd movement, service levels and operational performance, resolving issues proactively.
• Handle spectator complaints, escalations and VIP concerns while maintaining high service standards.
• Conduct venue inspections, readiness checks and event‑day briefings.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, accessibility and emergency procedures.
• Prepare operational, incident and post‑event reports, identifying improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Sports Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in spectator services, stadium or large‑scale event operations.
• Proven track record managing spectator services for international football tournaments, major sporting events, concerts or multi‑sport events with audiences over 20,000.
• Experience leading large operational teams, including paid staff, contractors and volunteers.
