Sterilization Technician

About the role

My Clinic is seeking a Sterilization Technician to manage the decontamination, sterilization, and distribution of medical instruments and supplies across its outpatient facilities in Saudi Arabia. The role ensures that all surgical instruments are safely processed and ready for use, supporting the clinic’s mission of delivering high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Receive soiled instruments and perform initial decontamination using mechanical and manual methods.
• Operate automated washers, ultrasonic cleaners, and disinfection equipment to clean reusable devices.
• Inspect cleaned items for damage, assemble instrument sets, and prepare them for sterilization.
• Run sterilizers and autoclaves, monitor cycle parameters, and document results.
• Package and label sterilized items, store them properly, and maintain inventory control.
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and quality‑control checks on all sterilization equipment.

Required profile

• Diploma in CSSD Technology from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
• Eligibility for registry status.

Required skills

• Operation of automated washers and ultrasonic cleaners.
• Use of sterilizers, autoclaves, and other sterilization technologies.
• Biological indicator testing and quality‑control documentation.
• Equipment calibration and routine maintenance.
