Store General Manager – Retail (Saudi National)

About the role

The Store General Manager will lead all operations of a large‑format retail outlet, ensuring sales targets, KPI performance and an exceptional customer experience are achieved. This senior position requires strong commercial acumen, operational excellence and the ability to inspire a diverse store team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily store activities, ensuring smooth execution of retail processes.
• Drive store performance to meet and exceed sales targets and key metrics such as traffic, conversion rate and average basket size.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve escalated customer issues.
• Lead, coach and develop store teams to achieve performance goals.
• Ensure compliance with visual merchandising standards and execute promotional campaigns.
• Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment and product availability.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, HR, Finance, Marketing and Commercial teams for seamless operations.
• Monitor operating expenses and identify cost‑optimization opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing or a related field.
• 5–8+ years of retail experience, preferably in large‑format or multi‑category environments.
• Proven track record in store management or senior retail leadership roles.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and drive KPI performance.
• Strong leadership, coaching and performance‑management skills.
