Store Manager

About the role

The Store Manager oversees daily store operations, ensuring a seamless and positive shopping experience, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and achieving financial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the store team to meet sales targets, KPIs and club‑apparel, NPS, DSES goals.
• Maintain shrinkage below 0.2% of cost of sales through regular financial and stock audits.
• Update and communicate the store dashboard and monitor performance metrics.
• Ensure visual merchandising standards and back‑store replenishment are consistently met.
• Manage employee records, including leave, performance, conduct history and roster scheduling.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures, security measures and safety of customers and staff.
• Recruit, train and develop a high‑performing sales team, addressing learning gaps with targeted training.
• Monitor store expenses, budgets and financial goals, and implement action plans to improve results.
• Maintain relationships with mall management and coordinate with back‑office teams.
• Handle customer inquiries and concerns promptly, striving to exceed expectations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years progressive experience in a customer‑centric retail role.
• Strong leadership, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales KPIs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management or a related field preferred.
