Store Manager - Premium Fashion Retail

About the role

The Store Manager oversees operational excellence and holds full P&L responsibility while ensuring adherence to brand compliance. The role fosters an environment aligned with brand values, teamwork, results and exceptional customer service, and covers planning, strategy, staff development and financial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure operational standards in visual merchandising, stock availability, customer service and safety, and maintain brand integrity through standardized displays
• Implement agreed delivery plans and security controls for stock, and work with merchandising and buying teams on stock turnover and ordering levels
• Keep IT systems running smoothly, register and renew permits and licenses, and plan and review monthly P&L reports
• Develop marketing and promotional plans, and manage product ordering, receiving, pricing and damaged/returned goods
• Conduct daily floor walks to drive sales and coach staff, using the Working Week Framework
• Train staff on customer service, monitor customer feedback, benchmark sales growth and analyse competitor performance with the Regional Manager
• Hire, train and develop employees, ensure adequate staffing, motivate and evaluate performance, follow HR and health and safety procedures, and build a succession plan
• Manage finances including sales, manpower and expenses, prepare annual budgets with the Area Manager, issue financial reports on time, and oversee invoices, credit notes and petty cash

Required profile

• Graduate degree required
• Minimum 8 years of experience in retail and wholesale
• Experience with premium fashion brands is essential
• Ability to meet targets and handle KPIs, strong commercial acumen and customer focus
