About the role
Parsons is seeking a Structural Engineer to design and plan a wide range of infrastructure projects, including bridges, railroads, airports, and water resources. The role offers the chance to work on complex, community‑impacting structures while advancing your engineering career.
Key responsibilities
- Develop drawings, specifications, and construction documents using CAE/CAD tools.
- Perform engineering calculations, material takeoffs, cost estimates, and surveys.
- Prepare equipment and material requisitions and review supplier submittals.
- Provide technical guidance to CAD designers, drafters, and junior engineers on project teams.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification may be required.
- Strong analytical, communication, and team‑oriented skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with BIM processes.
- Working knowledge of CAD and related engineering software (CAE/CAD).
- Experience preparing specifications, data sheets, and construction documents.
