Summer Internship – First Cohort

About the role

SAJA Studios is offering its first summer internship cohort, giving students hands‑on experience in a real production environment that spans Riyadh and Osaka. Interns will work directly with the founders and participate in a cross‑cultural pipeline that follows Japanese engineering discipline.

Key responsibilities

• Design and document gameplay mechanics, prototype track layouts, and balance handling for a 3D racing game set in Riyadh.
• Create UI/HUD concepts, marketing assets, environment and vehicle concepts, and prepare assets for integration.
• Maintain the project backlog, write specifications, track milestones, and conduct competitive research.
• Rebuild the studio website using a modern front‑end stack and submit code for review.
• Perform market research on Saudi and East Asian gaming markets, develop business cases, and support financial modeling.

Required profile

• University student interested in game development and willing to work across Riyadh‑Osaka time zones.
• Motivated to collaborate with Japanese engineers and learn a disciplined development process.
• Strong communication skills for cross‑team coordination.
