Supervisor – Stewards

About the role

The Supervisor‑Stewards will lead a team of stewards to ensure efficient clean‑up and support for banquet and buffet operations at W Hotels in Riyadh. This role combines hands‑on equipment operation with staff coordination to maintain high standards of hygiene and service.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and assist stewards to improve clean‑up efficiency.
• Monitor water temperature and chemical levels, documenting compliance.
• Assist with banquet plate‑ups and provide cooks with required items.
• Transport and stock banquet and buffet areas, returning cleaned items to proper locations.
• Operate and maintain dish‑washing machines, hand‑wash stations, pot‑scrubbing stations, and trash compactors.
• Support hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching of team members.
• Follow safety, security, and company policies; report incidents and complete required training.
• Maintain professional uniform appearance and protect company assets.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of related food‑and‑beverage experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb and stand for extended periods.
