Talent & Brand Partnerships Manager

About the role

The Talent & Brand Partnerships Manager oversees the strategic management and growth of Ego & East's talents, keeping each talent's brand identity, positioning and collaborations aligned with their long-term goals. The role also secures new business for the division through strategy and pitching. It covers a roster of up to 15 talents, including some high-profile ones, and leads a small team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a roster of up to 15 talents, check their inboxes daily, pursue collaborations and keep daily contact through dedicated WhatsApp groups.
• Schedule weekly or bi-monthly calls where relevant, track pending deliverables and work on each talent's business and social media growth strategy.
• Lead strategy for brand partnerships, from concept ideation and responding to RFPs to creating competitive pitches and presenting them to win new clients.
• Develop and implement talent strategies, manage projects from calendar scheduling to deliverables, and advise talents on their image, content quality and growth.
• Identify, recruit and manage high-profile potential talents and potential brand partnerships for them.
• Build long-term relationships with brands, agencies and key industry stakeholders.
• Work with the marketing and PR team to create competitive pitches and in-house initiatives, and negotiate contracts and manage talent budgets to maximise ROI.
• Keep up with industry trends and best practices, and compile and oversee monthly status reports on each talent's performance.
• Lead a small junior team of talent managers, giving guidance, mentorship and support.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of the influencer and social media landscape.
• An existing strong network of industry peers, with a willingness to grow it.
• Natural flair for discussing and negotiating brand deals while upholding the brand ethos and professional standards of Ego & East.
• Creativity for high-level brand partnership work.
