Tax & Zakat Supervisor

About the role

Reef Group is looking for a highly qualified Tax & Zakat Supervisor to lead its tax function in Saudi Arabia and across the GCC. You will ensure full compliance with local tax and zakat regulations while supporting the Group’s financial governance and strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance, including Zakat, Corporate Income Tax, VAT, WHT, RETT and tax recoveries.
• Monitor legislative changes and advise the business on tax risk mitigation.
• Manage transfer pricing documentation and policies in line with local and international rules.
• Prepare periodic tax and zakat reports for senior management.
• Review invoices, accounting entries and commercial contracts for correct tax treatment.
• Develop and improve tax policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Lead, coach and evaluate the Tax & Zakat team.
• Participate in finance transformation and ERP implementation projects to embed tax requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on tax and zakat experience, preferably in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi tax law and GCC tax frameworks.
• Proven experience with transfer pricing compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
