Technical Design Manager

About the role

Parsons Corporation is seeking an experienced Technical Design Manager to lead the design and technical delivery of multidisciplinary projects in Saudi Arabia. You will coordinate design packages, ensure compliance with client expectations, and drive quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate design deliverables across multiple projects.
• Oversee preparation of drawings, technical documentation, reports and tender packages.
• Develop and implement resource plans, review staffing budgets and assignment schedules.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels, including temporary personnel as needed.
• Monitor quality and progress of discipline work, ensuring production requirements are met.
• Establish standards, procedures and recommend improvements.
• Recruit, interview, evaluate and develop personnel; conduct performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards and client requirements.
• Participate in design reviews, value‑engineering workshops and technical coordination meetings.
• Track schedule, cost and quality metrics for the design team.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of experience in civil/structural design and project delivery.
• Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary design teams.
• Strong budgeting and resource‑planning capabilities.
• Experience with quality‑improvement programs and staff development.
• Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.
