Technician Level 1 – Maintenance & Repairs

About the role

The Technician Level 1 will carry out maintenance, repairs and calibrations on heavy‑vehicle and equipment in line with manufacturer standards. This role requires independent problem‑solving and the ability to support colleagues when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Perform independent repairs, calibrations and troubleshooting on assigned equipment.
• Diagnose, analyse and rectify faults using manufacturer information.
• Assist team members to complete their tasks and share technical knowledge.
• Maintain utilisation, productivity and efficiency according to standard times.
• Follow company and manufacturer policies, health‑and‑safety regulations and safe working practices.
• Provide professional technical advice to customers, suppliers and colleagues.
• Keep product knowledge up‑to‑date and attend required training courses.

Required profile

• High‑school education plus a heavy‑vehicle technician qualification or equivalent manufacturer certification.
• Minimum 8 years of experience repairing and maintaining heavy vehicles or industrial equipment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturer standards and safety procedures.
