Training and Education Intern - Diabetes, Taif

About the role

Medtronic's Diabetes team (now MiniMed after its IPO in March 2026) is looking for a Training and Education Intern based in Taif. The internship starts on 1 December 2026 and lasts 6 months, working 40 hours per week with flexibility around exams and holidays, on site. After completing the local legal and employment procedures, employment is expected to transfer to MiniMed, subject to business needs and local consultation requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Support and educate doctors, nurses and patients on diabetes management and the company's products, answering their questions and needs
• Take part in patient onboarding sessions and educational campaigns to raise diabetes awareness and improve care
• Manage consignment inventory in hospitals and make sure used items are replenished on time
• Help the logistics team during deliveries so operations run smoothly
• Travel within the local region to extend education and support efforts

Required profile

• Final-year student or recent graduate in healthcare, nutrition, health education or a related field
• Fluent Arabic and at least intermediate (B1) English, with strong verbal and written communication
• Excellent organisational ability and a customer-focused mindset
• Eager to learn and grow professionally
• A plus: experience working with patients, interest in diabetes, additional diabetes-care training or certification, and a driving licence
