Travel Consultant Supervisor

About the role

The Travel Consultant Supervisor leads a corporate travel support team while delivering end‑to‑end travel services for key clients. This hybrid role combines hands‑on booking responsibilities with operational leadership, ensuring service quality, SLA compliance, and effective escalation handling.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full‑cycle corporate travel booking (flights, hotels, rail, car rentals, ancillary services) for assigned clients, managing complex itineraries and VIP requests.
• Ensure compliance with client travel policies and internal service level agreements.
• Oversee daily operations of the travel support team, monitor queues, and coordinate with Sales and Account Management.
• Act as the second‑level escalation point for service delivery issues, SLA breaches, and supplier problems.
• Monitor team attendance, punctuality, and schedule adherence to maintain continuous coverage.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of junior consultants, share best practices, and drive continuous process improvements.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience as a corporate travel consultant within a TMC or business‑travel environment.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or senior team‑lead role.
• Native Arabic speaker with high English proficiency.
• Strong decision‑making, problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GDS systems – Sabre (preferred), Amadeus or Galileo.
