Urology Peer Reviewer (PhD)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced researcher with a PhD to provide expert peer‑review services for urology manuscripts. This part‑time, remote role supports a stable, long‑term collaboration with our academic publishing partners.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty of submitted manuscripts and determine their contribution to urology knowledge.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility of the research.
• Verify that literature reviews are comprehensive and up‑to‑date.
• Analyse results and conclusions for clarity, accuracy, and relevance.
• Provide constructive, written feedback highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and ethical considerations.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection to the journal editor.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
• At least five peer‑reviewed papers published in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent written communication skills for clear, concise feedback.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable.
