Valuations & Economics Manager, Transaction Services

About the role

PwC's people in deals provide strategic advice and support to clients on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and restructuring, helping them navigate complex transactions and maximise value. As Valuations & Economics Manager in Transaction Services, you will focus on analysis and valuation services for mergers, acquisitions and other financial transactions, helping clients assess the worth and potential risks of deals. At this management level you also coach, develop and inspire others, manage performance and lead with integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and identify the linkages and interactions between the components of a system
• Take ownership of projects, ensuring their planning, budgeting, execution and completion
• Partner with team leadership on quality, timelines and deliverables
• Mentor team members, use work reviews to deepen their expertise and resolve conflicts through difficult conversations with clients and stakeholders
• Uphold professional and technical standards, the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements

Required profile

• Ability to develop skills outside your comfort zone and encourage others to do the same
• Preferred education: degrees in finance, economics or related fields
• Willingness to travel up to 20%
