Valve Technician II – Maintenance & Rotating Equipment

About the role

The Valve Technician II will be responsible for maintaining and repairing rotating equipment and valve systems within KBR’s oil and gas facilities in Saudi Arabia. The role ensures equipment reliability, compliance with safety standards, and effective coordination with operations and maintenance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate maintenance tasks to technicians and supervise ongoing jobs, reporting progress to the foreman.
• Organize manpower, equipment, and material availability, and secure required work permits.
• Provide technical guidance on proper tool and equipment usage.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance Planning, and Technical departments to execute work orders.
• Maintain accurate SAP data entry, including work history and actual hours.
• Participate in daily and weekly maintenance progress meetings.
• Ensure strict adherence to SATORP standards, safe work practices, hazardous regulations, and PPE requirements.
• Promote reporting of near‑misses, unsafe conditions, and take part in safety audits and training.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in oil & gas maintenance.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or technical field.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance management for oil & gas facilities.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a multicultural environment.
