Vehicle Registration Officer – Government Relations

About the role

The Vehicle Registration Officer is a key operational position within Al Futtaim Automotive’s Government Relations function. You will manage end‑to‑end vehicle registration, renewal, transfer and de‑registration across the dealership network in KSA, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily vehicle registrations, renewals, ownership transfers, plate issuance and de‑registrations for all KSA branches.
• Process transactions on government platforms such as Absher Business, Najiz, MVPI, Tamm, Fasah and Sabir.
• Coordinate vehicle inspections, insurance binding and customs documentation to enable timely customer hand‑over.
• Maintain strong relationships with Traffic Department, MoCI, SASO, ZATCA, insurance providers and inspection centres.
• Monitor registration cycle times, identify bottlenecks and propose corrective actions to meet KPIs.
• Ensure full compliance with KSA traffic regulations, Saudization requirements and internal control policies.

Required profile

• Strong process discipline and attention to detail.
• Bilingual communication skills (Arabic and English).
• Active working knowledge of KSA traffic and vehicle registration regulations.
• Ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external government entities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Absher Business platform.
• Experience using Najiz platform.
• Familiarity with MVPI platform.
• Knowledge of Tamm platform.
• Experience with Fasah platform.
• Use of Sabir platform for vehicle registration processes.
