Warehouse Operations Specialist

About the role

The Warehouse Operations Specialist is the backbone of daily warehouse activities, coordinating inbound and outbound flows, maintaining WMS data integrity, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. You will work closely with the Warehouse Manager, lead a team of operators, and drive continuous improvement of pick‑pack‑ship processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritize daily workflow, balancing inbound and outbound shipments to meet delivery deadlines.
• Lead daily briefings, manage shift handovers, and oversee onboarding and training of new operators.
• Maintain real‑time accuracy in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and prepare regular operational reports.
• Identify bottlenecks in the pick‑pack‑ship cycle and propose improvements.
• Schedule preventive maintenance for warehouse equipment and keep documentation.
• Conduct daily cycle counts, inventory audits, and investigate discrepancies.
• Inspect incoming/outgoing materials for damage, quantity, and compliance with purchase and sales orders.
• Optimize slotting strategies based on item velocity and size.
• Ensure 100% compliance with EHS policies, manage hazardous material handling, and enforce 5S standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on warehouse operations experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Warehouse Management System (WMS) for real‑time data entry and reporting.
