AI Enablement Specialist

About the role

The AI Enablement Specialist will lead the identification, prototyping, and deployment of artificial‑intelligence solutions across ECEC’s engineering consultancy and construction business units. The role bridges technical possibilities with real‑world workflows, ensuring AI tools are safe, compliant, and deliver measurable value.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor global AI developments relevant to engineering, project management, and AEC, and produce concise briefings for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with business units to map workflows, identify AI use cases, prioritize them by impact and feasibility, and assess data requirements.
• Build and iterate AI‑powered prototypes such as chatbots, document automation, dashboards, and proposal assistants using modern AI APIs, Python, and low‑code platforms.
• Evaluate data privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory risks for each AI application, and maintain an internal responsible‑AI framework aligned with Saudi regulations.
• Train and coach colleagues, run workshops, and act as the liaison between ECEC and external AI vendors or academic partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering or a related field (Master’s a plus).
• Fresh graduates are welcome; demonstrated self‑learning, personal projects, or hackathon experience is valued.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Experience with large language model APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or Google Gemini.
• Familiarity with low/no‑code automation platforms.
• Practical experience building AI prototypes or integrating AI APIs.
