Assistant Director of Loss Prevention

About the role

The Assistant Director of Loss Prevention will support Accor’s security objectives in Riyadh by protecting assets, investigating incidents, and driving preventive initiatives. This position works closely with the Loss Prevention team to ensure a safe and secure environment for staff and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV and other surveillance systems, conducting regular facility inspections to spot security risks.
• Investigate suspected theft, fraud, or policy violations and produce detailed incident reports.
• Analyze loss data trends to recommend and implement preventive strategies.
• Assist in developing loss‑prevention procedures and security protocols.
• Interview staff and customers during investigations while maintaining discretion.
• Maintain organized records of incidents, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with store management and other departments to resolve security concerns.
• Provide training and guidance on loss‑prevention best practices.
• Monitor inventory discrepancies, support reconciliation processes, and prepare reports for management.
• Stay updated on industry‑leading loss‑prevention techniques and security technologies.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented and analytical mindset with a strong sense of integrity and confidentiality.
• Proven experience in loss prevention, asset protection, or retail security environments.
• Excellent observational abilities and attention to detail.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to organize and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and compliance requirements.
