About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor – Civil to oversee structural inspections on a variety of construction projects. The role ensures that all structural components meet design specifications, codes, and standards while supporting project quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of foundations, beams, columns, and other structural elements.
• Verify that construction work complies with design plans, specifications, codes, and standards.
• Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports.
• Identify and report any deficiencies or deviations from approved plans.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve issues.
• Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
• Assist in developing and implementing inspection procedures and protocols.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of inspections and related documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in structural inspection or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, construction methods, and industry standards.
• Proficiency with inspection tools and software.
• Relevant certifications or training may be considered.
