IT Infrastructure Manager

About the role

The IT Infrastructure Manager will design, manage, and optimise the technology environment to ensure secure, scalable, and high‑performing services that support operational efficiency and business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse current infrastructure utilisation, benchmark against international trends and develop capacity plans.
• Translate high‑level designs into detailed low‑level specifications for networks, systems, databases and maintenance management systems.
• Monitor deployment of servers, datacentres, software installations and disaster‑recovery solutions to optimise performance.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive IT security plan covering backup, failover, incident response and compliance.
• Manage access‑rights matrices, oversee KPI dashboards and generate performance reports with improvement recommendations.
• Provide Level 2 support, coordinate with third‑party vendors and ensure thorough testing and validation of all infrastructure components.
• Conduct risk analysis, digital forensics and threat‑intelligence activities to mitigate technical risks.
• Support IT projects with technical expertise to achieve defined goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as PMP preferred; ITIL or Agile certifications considered a plus.
