Logistics Specialist

About the role

The Logistics Specialist will manage end‑to‑end shipment processes, ensuring timely and cost‑effective delivery for both domestic and international orders. This role supports MEEM’s supply chain operations by maintaining visibility, optimizing logistics costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments from suppliers to customers, ensuring on‑time delivery.
• Maintain accurate shipment tracking records and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Monitor inbound and outbound movements, proactively addressing delays or disruptions.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams.
• Manage import and export activities, including customs clearance and transportation arrangements.
• Identify and implement cost‑optimization opportunities through route and carrier analysis.
• Track logistics KPIs such as on‑time delivery, lead times, and transportation costs.
• Ensure all shipping, customs, and logistics documentation is accurate and submitted on schedule.
• Collaborate with warehouse, procurement, and supply chain teams to meet operational requirements.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives to boost logistics efficiency and service quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of import/export regulations and customs clearance procedures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities.
