Manufacturing Engineer – Oil & Gas

About the role

Our client, a leading oil & gas company in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive process improvements, support new product introductions, and ensure manufacturing excellence across its facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Implement Lean Six Sigma concepts, including standardized work, line balancing, layout optimization, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, and quick changeover.
• Manage change actions, new product development introductions, sales order reviews, and process mapping.
• Update manufacturing bills of material, routings, fixtures, and handle quality notifications/rework.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects targeting yield, cycle‑time reduction, and productivity.
• Make‑and‑buy decisions, tooling selection, fixture design, and provide feedback to CNC programmers.
• Review and sign‑off engineering change orders affecting inventory and product life‑cycle.
• Create and monitor KPIs for process capability, product quality, and cost reduction.
• Support root‑cause investigations, corrective actions, and first‑article inspections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in oil & gas.
• Lean Six Sigma certification with proven project experience.
• Experience with SAP and demand planning.
• Machining‑center experience and basic tooling & programming knowledge.
