Service Mechanic – Equipment Maintenance

About the role

SDEC, a leading equipment distributor and industrial solutions provider in the Kingdom, is seeking a Service Mechanic to ensure reliable performance of its machines. Working under the Workshop Team Leader, you will carry out repairs and preventive maintenance according to service manuals and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Follow daily and weekly work plans set by the workshop team leader.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance as described in machine service manuals.
• Consult the workshop team leader on repair actions when necessary.
• Adhere strictly to safety rules, wear appropriate safety gear, and keep the work area clean and obstacle‑free.
• Maintain a tidy toolbox and use the correct tools for each task.
• Clean machines after maintenance or repair work.
• Write and submit accurate service reports and timecards on time.
• Report any damages or irregularities immediately to the workshop team leader.
• Attend all required training courses and on‑the‑job training.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a mechanic or in a similar maintenance role.
• Preferable holder of a driving licence.
• Physically capable of performing installation, repair, and maintenance tasks.
• Diploma in Mechanical engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• High attention to detail and quality.
