Materials Controller

About the role

The Materials Controller ensures uninterrupted production by managing material planning, inventory monitoring, and supplier coordination. Working within ACCBC Manufacturing’s beverage production environment, the role provides real‑time visibility of raw material, packaging, flavors and ingredient availability.

Key responsibilities

• Execute material plans generated through ERP/MRP systems and monitor daily consumption against production schedules.
• Maintain real‑time visibility of material availability and create purchase orders where required.
• Proactively escalate potential material shortages or supply risks to planning and production teams.
• Coordinate with suppliers, procurement and finance to ensure timely dispatch of materials and monitor payment status.
• Monitor safety stock levels, identify slow‑moving items and support stock rotation initiatives.
• Track inbound shipments, manage customs clearance and import documentation to avoid delays.
• Collaborate with QA and CQA on rejected materials, manage reverse logistics and close rejection cases.
• Support material readiness for new product development and packaging projects.

Required profile

• Experience in material planning or inventory control within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of ERP/MRP processes and ability to work with production schedules.
• Excellent coordination skills with suppliers, procurement, finance and quality teams.
• Attention to detail for inventory accuracy and documentation compliance.
