Policy Development Lead

About the role

The Policy Development Lead is responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining the bank's policies and committee charters. This role ensures alignment with regulatory requirements and facilitates timely approvals across all relevant departments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and revise bank policies and committee charters, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
• Coordinate review and approval processes with concerned departments and manage the publication of final documents.
• Facilitate discussions with policy owners and stakeholders to achieve consensus and alignment.
• Execute day‑to‑day operations of the policy development section, adhering to service level agreements and quality standards.
• Maintain the electronic policy library, ensure safe archiving, and follow the annual review schedule for outdated policies.
• Represent the function in various committees, ensuring effective communication and alignment of objectives.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports in line with Riyad Bank and departmental requirements.
• Identify continuous‑improvement opportunities, incorporating international best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law or a related field.
• 6‑8 years of relevant experience in policy development, regulatory compliance, or banking operations.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Basic knowledge of banking products, services, and relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
