Project Director – Large‑Scale Oil & Gas EPC

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead a portfolio of large‑scale Oil & Gas EPC projects across the GCC region. The role demands strong leadership, strategic oversight, and a proven ability to deliver complex projects on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of multiple EPC projects, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives are met.
• Define project strategy, governance frameworks, resource planning, and stakeholder management.
• Manage project risks, develop recovery plans, and drive performance improvement initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Mentor and guide Project Directors, Project Managers, and cross‑functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, industry standards, and organizational policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 22+ years of EPC experience, including at least 10 years in the GCC Oil & Gas sector.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role such as Business Unit Head, Project Director, Program Director, or Operations Director.
• Extensive exposure to large Oil & Gas projects and relevant standards.
• Proven track record in project execution, risk management, commercial performance, and safety excellence.
