Project Execution General Manager

About the role

The Head of Project Execution leads all airside and terminal project activities, ensuring they meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards. This senior position provides strategic direction, oversees project delivery, and coordinates communication among internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans that align project execution with organisational goals.
• Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of airside and terminal projects, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget, and on‑scope completion.
• Secure permits and clearances, ensuring compliance with GACAR, ICAO, FAA and other safety and environmental regulations.
• Lead, mentor and develop the Project Execution team, conducting performance reviews and fostering continuous improvement.
• Maintain strong relationships with contractors, vendors, authorities and community stakeholders.
• Manage the division’s budget, identify cost‑saving opportunities and monitor financial performance.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
• Establish and track KPIs, producing regular performance and financial reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in managing large‑scale aviation or infrastructure projects.
• Strong strategic planning abilities and a track record of delivering projects within scope, schedule and budget.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• In‑depth knowledge of aviation safety and environmental regulations.
• Ability to drive a high‑performing, collaborative team culture.
