Remote Rust Engineer – AI Data Training Contractor

About the role

We are looking for an hourly‑paid, fully remote Rust Engineer to support AI data training. You will review and generate Rust code and explanations, evaluate reasoning quality, and provide detailed feedback that helps AI models produce accurate, logical, and well‑explained answers.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated Rust code, identify ownership, borrowing, lifetime, and algorithmic errors.
• Generate high‑quality Rust solutions and pedagogical explanations.
• Rate and compare multiple AI responses based on correctness and reasoning.
• Create detailed prompts and responses to guide AI learning.
• Evaluate and rank AI outputs to improve model accuracy and relevance.
• Test AI models for inaccuracies or biases and ensure reliability.

Required profile

• 1–2+ years of professional Rust development experience (backend, CLI, or systems).
• Strong grasp of Rust ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, and data‑race concepts.
• Experience with safe, idiomatic Rust patterns (traits, generics, pattern matching, error handling).
• Proficiency using LLMs or AI coding assistants and validating their output.
• Excellent English writing skills for clear technical explanations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
