Senior Account Service Delivery Manager (Banking Sector)

About the role

The Senior Account Service Delivery Manager (ASDM) is the primary Vendor Account Executive and Delivery Head for a strategic banking client. You will own end‑to‑end delivery of both software development and IT operations teams, coordinating a layered structure of team leads and managers.

Key responsibilities

• Act as single point of accountability for the bank’s executive IT leadership, leading performance steering committees.
• Manage account P&L, resource forecasting, and contract renewals or extensions.
• Handle escalation of delivery delays or critical operational incidents.
• Direct and mentor Development Managers and Operations Leads.
• Orchestrate a hybrid onshore/offshore delivery model, optimizing resource allocation.
• Govern Waterfall‑based core banking migrations and Agile sprint‑based digital channel releases.
• Ensure seamless integration of Agile releases into strict Waterfall release windows.
• Enforce SLA/KPI compliance with 99.9%+ availability targets and manage incident lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum 180 months (15 years) of experience in IT service delivery, preferably within the banking sector.
• Proven experience managing both software development and IT operations teams.
• Strong background in hybrid onshore/offshore delivery models.
• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
