Senior Bids and Tender Specialist, EP MEA

About the role

The Bids and Tender Senior Specialist, EP MEA supports the end-to-end bids and tender process for the Electrophysiology business across the Middle East and Africa, ensuring timely, compliant, accurate and competitive submissions. The role works closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Compliance and Regulatory, and helps the Bids and Tendering Leader improve tools, governance, reporting and process discipline.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full tender lifecycle, from pre-tender and quotation through submission, award and post-award, and review requirements, evaluation criteria and submission checklists
• Analyse tender outcomes through win/loss reviews, pricing simulations, competitor insights and debriefs
• Maintain bids and tender databases, trackers and central platforms
• Review tender documents for legal, commercial, technical and operational risks and ensure compliance with customer requirements, policies, SOPs, approval matrices and SOX controls
• Support the creation and revision of SOPs and work instructions
• Work with EP Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance and distributors, and run pre- and post-tender meetings
• Act as subject matter expert, train commercial and non-commercial teams and share knowledge
• Report performance metrics and dashboards, maintain quotation tools, dashboards and calendars, and propose process improvements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, ideally in a business-oriented subject such as Finance, Marketing, Economics or Business
• At least 4 years of experience in bids and tender management, pricing, commercial operations or bid management, preferably in MEA or complex regional markets
• Experience in medical device, pharma or healthcare tendering preferred; EP or cardiovascular experience is an advantage
• Fluent English and Arabic; French is a plus

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; dashboards and analytics tools are an advantage
• Working knowledge of SAP is an advantage
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities
