Senior Director, International Banking

About the role

The bank is seeking an experienced senior professional to join the Group Treasury team and lead the International Business function. This role will shape the strategy and execution of the bank’s international operations, driving both revenue and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and execute the overall International Business strategy to achieve an optimal mix of products, yield, and fee income.
• Maximise top‑line and bottom‑line performance for the bank’s international operations.
• Manage and deliver income targets for international branches and subsidiaries in their respective markets.
• Diversify the bank’s global exposure while optimising returns and fee income.
• Oversee operating expenses for international operations to ensure adherence to approved budgets.
• Drive the formulation and implementation of strategies to enhance income from International Business as a senior member of the Treasury leadership team.
• Contribute to the development and execution of International Business initiatives, IB product development, and business expansion strategies.
• Explore and evaluate opportunities for further international expansion, including establishing representative offices in key global markets.

Required profile

• Experienced candidate with a proven track record in international banking or treasury.
• Senior‑level professional capable of leading a strategic function within a large banking group.
