SSHE Officer – Health, Safety & Environment

About the role

We are looking for an SSHE Officer to ensure a safe and healthy working environment at our Almanhal Water Factory in Riyadh. The role involves implementing Nestlé’s EHS policies, conducting inspections, and promoting a strong safety culture across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Implement all EHS policies and procedures in line with Nestlé standards.
• Perform inspections and hazard assessments to identify risks to people, property and the environment.
• Investigate, document and photograph accidents and incidents; analyse data and prepare corrective‑action reports.
• Conduct ergonomic assessments and recommend improvements to reduce workplace discomfort.
• Collaborate with staff to reduce accidental losses and enhance loss‑prevention measures.
• Deliver safety training as required and prepare emergency response plans.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 45001‑2018 standards and Nestlé EHS rules at all times.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Risk Management or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in health and safety.
• SAFETY Kawader certificate (required).
• OSHA, NEBOSH or HSE/OSH certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 45001 standards.
• Familiarity with OSHA and NEBOSH safety frameworks.
• Ability to conduct ergonomic and hazard assessments.
• Experience preparing emergency response and safety training programs.
