Security Manager

About the role

The Security Manager leads the organization’s security function, ensuring the safety of personnel, assets, and facilities. This role develops policies, conducts risk assessments, and oversees the implementation of security technologies to maintain a secure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities.
• Supervise security personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
• Coordinate with law‑enforcement agencies, emergency responders, and internal stakeholders on security incidents.
• Manage surveillance, access‑control, and alarm systems to enhance protection.
• Monitor security data, incident reports, and surveillance footage to detect trends.
• Respond promptly to breaches, emergencies, and incidents, mitigating risks.
• Develop crisis‑management plans and ensure effective emergency response.
• Collaborate with HR, facilities, and other departments to integrate security measures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 10 years overall work experience, with at least 5 years in security management.
• Proven ability to lead security teams and manage complex security operations.
• Strong knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
